On the second day, half the group departed after the morning meeting for Women with a Purpose women’s shelter. We started by bringing gifts of food, clothing and supplies, then jumped into playing with the kids, painting and repairing. Part way through the day the other half of the group arrived from the market, bearing fresh produce and staples, and took the late shift.
