We'll be learning the basics of Flash animation--making drawings and text move on the screen--during the trimester. We'll also touch on some simple programming, and saving our files for display on the web.

One the web, it's important to have small file sizes, because to be able to see an image, we have to download it first.

Look how much more you get with a 4 kilobyte Flash file than with an ordinary 4 kilobyte .GIF file!
