To get an idea of the part of the island we will transverse, see above.

Day 1 - We drive to San Pedro and take the boat to Two Harbors.

Day 2 - We hike 7 miles to Parson’s Landing on the West End, along the ridge top.

Day 3 - We hike back to Two Harbors

Day 4 - We hike to Little Harbor

Day 5 - We have a layover day at Little Harbor

Day 6 - We hike 5 miles up to Blackjack Camp, at the base of Mt. Orizaba, the highest mountain on the island; located in the middle of Catalina Island.

Day 7 - We hike to the Airport Road, and grab a bus to Avalon for lunch and a couple hours in Avalon. The boat for San Pedro leaves at 3:00.
