Tents, Tenting and Tenting Contract
Tents, Tenting and Tenting Contract
Tents
Needless to say, your tent needs to be water-proofed.
One year we were inundated by rain.
We ALWAYS are prepared for rain. This means checking the following:
Is your tent seam sealed?
Do you have a ground cloth?
Do you have a rain fly?
Do you have all the tie down cords to tie the rain fly away from the body of your tent?
Do you have all the stakes you need for your fly and your cords?
Do you have all of your tent poles?
We will set up tents one day at SBMS and be sure all parts are accounted for. It is important when you split the weight of a tent with your tenting partner, that you are certain all parts are coming along - CHECK that your partner does not forget his/her part of the tent.
