Dear Parents and Friends,
The students and teachers had a great ride today in the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley and are spending the evening under the stars on a large grassy field at Dunn School. They will be heading to Buellton tomorrow and plan to do some classic SBMS rides in the Buellton/Los Alamos area on Thursday and Friday.
Please be assured that even though the trip is not close to the fire area or in the backcountry, we will be monitoring the fire conditions and air quality.
Again, if you have any questions, please contact the office at 805-682-2989 or by email.
Thank you,
SBMS Office

Dear Parents and Friends,
Please be assured that the trip is going well, everyone is fine, and they are at least 20 miles away from the Lookout Fire. The students and teachers are currently at El Capitan State Beach and will be traveling to the Solvang area today via Highway 101. They plan to ride in the area around Solvang.
Of course, the school will be tracking the fire and will be ready to change plans as necessary. We have many options for safe areas to camp and ride. We will be sending another update to parents this evening.
If you have any questions, please call or email the school office.
Thank you,
SBMS Office
