Mid-year expeditions are small-group events, tailored to take advantage of the level of outdoor experience students have accumulated at SBMS, and will occur in March, 2012. 6th and 7th Graders will participate in journeys where they will gain the knowlege and skills necessary to qualify for the trips available by choice to the 8th and 9th Graders.

Available expeditions change over time, but in the past have included for the upper grades:

• Kayaking the Gaviota Coast
• Advanced Bike & BOBs
• Mountaineering (Climbing Mt. Whitney)
• Hiking Catalina Island
• And more!
