Electives

Student Choices: 10 Electives a Year

Adolescence is a time of discovery, and at SBMS, we empower students to explore their passions through our dynamic electives program. Designed to foster curiosity, creativity, and personal growth, electives encourage students to pursue what excites them—whether in the arts, athletics, or new areas of interest.

Students select 10 electives each year from an offering of over 40, including a required athletic class each quarter, to meet California State Standards. A favorite part of the SBMS experience, electives are an integral part of the afternoon schedule, offering hands-on learning beyond core academics.

In addition to arts and athletics, we offer enrichment classes focused on leadership, service, and study skills, helping students develop confidence and real-world abilities.
